I'm a 10-year educator for District 8 and this is my fourth year teaching 4th grade at Meadowbrook. I hold a BA in Business Marketing & Administration and a Master's in Education. In my free time, my family and I like to travel to new places and play fixer-upper at home. I'm looking forward to having your child in my class! Mrs. Catanzaro - Email: rcatanzaro@bethalto.org I was born and raised in the Alton/Godfrey area where I attended the Alton School District. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Math with high honors. Summer of ‘98, I graduated from SIUE with a Masters of Science in Educational Administration with a perfect 4.0 GPA. I continued to take classes to ensure that I am teaching the latest, most effective methods. As you can see, education is a very high priority for me. :) This is my 28th year teaching 4th grade in the Bethalto School District. I love my job teaching 4th graders! Mrs. Geppert - Email: mgeppert@bethalto.org Attended Civic Memorial High School, EIU (Bachelor's in Elementary Education), and SIUE (Masters in Elementary Education). About Me: I have two boys, Grant(21) and Ben(18). I also have a beloved dog, Auggie (After August Busch), and two cats, Wrigley and Fenway. I love baseball, music, traveling, and art. Someday, I hope to get back to Europe and see some of the places I missed! My goal for the year is to successfully implement flexible seating and make it a great year for my students! Mr. Angelo - Email: langelo@bethalto.org My name is Luke Angelo and I started teaching in Bethalto in 2005. I started my career in a small town of Virginia, Illinois which is located just 15 miles north of Jacksonville. While teaching 5th grade in Virginia for 2 years, I coached junior high and high school baseball, football, and was the statistician for junior high and high school boys basketball. After my departure from Virginia, I ended up in Sequin, Texas, which is located north of San Antonio and south of Austin. While in Texas I was the Assistant Coach for the softball team at Texas Lutheran University. My desire to move back home got the best of me and that brings me to where I am today. I have been at Meadowbrook ever since teaching both 4th and 5th grade. I am the head softball coach for the CM Eagles and Trimpe Middle School Eagles. I am married and have a daughter named Sophia. |
